Disappear
ahh, there are so many songs that are share-worthy, but i can never decide which ones to put up xD. for now, this one is it.
sometimes all the stuff in our lives make so much noise and stress us out so much. on top of that, there are so many distractions that our lives to reflect something OTHER than God. we're putting so much stock into all these useless/temporary things that don't really matter. our lives should be revolving around the One that really matters, the only One who has stability who is unchanging in our chaotic lives. wouldn't it be SO amazing if in our own lives, we "disappeared", our own nature and all, and all that was left was a reflection of God? "i'm so tired of it being about me...". so much of my life has been centered around ME. i want to be hidden in Him so when people see me, they see our awesome God.

i really like this song tim....especially the message this song conveys. bebo norman is cool....i also like "walk down this mountain" (which happens to be the theme song to gospel journey *gasp*)hmmm.... i really like how you are following up to monday's devotional question on our modern society's "gods."the distractions we go through everyday should and should not be ignored. hmmm....let me clarify, yes we should ignore these individual distractions, but we shouldn't ignore the idea that there are distractions. (i wonder if that makes sense....o wells XD)...its so cool how you're not letting this issue on temporary/useless things just come and quickly go.....unless your idea for this song has nothing to do with that subject O.O well anyways....thank you for following up on this conscientious issue by sharing your lovely song

This is an awesome song. I really enjoy reading your message about having yourself disappear to the point that only God is seen. This is how I have lived my life. Just that sometimes it is hard when life is hounding at you. This is the time when we need to stand firm for God and pray constantly for God's help to let Him shine through us. You will be amazed at how God is shining through us at that time. We may think that we have failed and did not show God's face and love in the situation. However, when you reflect on that issue. You will realize and see God's face and love was in it and was shown. Sometimes showing God's love can be painful because you will get hurt too. Just remember the person is not rejecting you but God. I know for me that hurts me more because I can feel God's pain of being rejected. Then I think of Jesus what he had went through when the people rejected him and nailed him to the cross to die. Of course, the pain of rejection is not as severe as Jesus' pain. But what Jesus did afterwards is what we should do. That is to pray for them and ask for their forgiveness of rejecting God. And ask God to help us find a way to reach them. If we don't reach them, that is ok because we are just planting seeds for God. God will reveal Himself to them in due time. We can pray for them and pray that when the time comes we can be there to help them or God will send someone to be there for them and lead them to Him.
