Orig #7

hii. happy last-week-of-school-until-christmas-break! xD!

i guess it's my turn =].. i've been talking to a bunch of people lately about Christmas.. like what it's about and the feelings attached with this time of year. along with all that christmas stuff, i listened to this song at home on a CD. it's a song through the eyes of Joseph, during that chaotic time.

"Strange Way to Save the World" ~ Jump5
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UAFCVpA1WA&feature=related

(chorus)
he must've thought 'why me'...i'm just a simple man of trade.
why him? of all the rulers in the world...
why here? inside this stable filled with hay....
why her? she's just an ordinary girl...
now i'm not one to second guess what angels have to say
but this is such a strange way to save the world

yeah.. i guess like before, this song is really showing me how God is using really ordinary things to do some of the extraordinary... i mean, i think i would've EXPECTed God to have saved the world in some spectacular way, using chariots of fire or great beams of light, but of all things...a regular boy, an regular girl, in a filthy stable, through a fragile and helpless baby... i would've thought "...tHIS is how the world is going to be saved?" and the truth is, God uses what looks so weak and so ordinary to save a broken world... its amazing. and that is a MAJOR piece of christmas. that's how He uses us, too =].

*nod nod*. oh, and btw, i'm thinking of starting a song blog via "blogger.com" or "yahoo.groups", so people who want to see it can go see it and we can stop spamming those who wish not to receive it xD... kay, have a great week!
